Energy is the driving force behind all development processes. However, when energy is neither accessible, clean, nor sustainable, it becomes a barrier. The Summer School “Advanced Technologies for Clean and Affordable Energy”, part of the ACHIEVE-IT project, is designed to train professionals capable of designing off-grid photovoltaic systems and leading the energy transition in low-income contexts.
The course will take place from 5 to 15 October 2025. After two initial days (6 and 7 October) dedicated to group building and cultural integration, the educational program will continue on 8, 9, 10, 13, and 14 October. Departure is scheduled for 15 October.

  • 12:30–14:30: Lunch break
  • 14:30–17:30: Hands-on activities and workshops

Educational modules will address:

  • Physics of devices and solar energy conversion
  • Design of off-grid, nano- and mini-grid systems
